Pickleball Burnham is a community-focused group based in Burnham, Bucks. We are Pickleball England certified trainers who meet regularly to play and socialize. Choose a session below to view the venue map and current availability.

Training / Coaching

Pickleball beginner courses:
Our Pickleball England certified coaches lead you through a well practiced curriculum covering the basics of the game. The beginners course is our recommended choice for those who have never played pickleball before and are keen on trying a new sport. It will teach you all the fundamentals of the game, covering the scoring, rules, shots, technique, and strategy. Over 4 weeks you'll learn the key shots and court positioning to be confidently playing games with similar skilled players. We also offer private tuition if you have a group of friends who are interested in organising the pickleball beginners course together, just let us know. Our courts are indoors and all equipment is provided. Please contact us for further info.

Uplevel your play with private coaching:
Know the basics already or need tournament preparation then our advanced skills workshops are perfect for you. Bespoke curated sessions targeting key areas requiring improvement such as; positioning & footwork, game tactics, advanced shot selection and strategic plays to uplevel your playstyle significantly. We analyse your current play and provide a structured process of improvement and learning followed by moderated matchplay to test and push your leanings to the next level. Be Safe

Wear a good pair of tennis court shoes (no black soles, walking, running, cross trainers, or street shoes).
Always warm up your body before playing with some easy stretches. If in doubt consult with a certified physiotherapist or doctor who can factor in any medical problems you may have.
Keep well hydrated, drink plenty of fluids before, during and after playing.
Please do not run backwards to get to a ball over your head, it is too easy to fall or collide with a wall and hurt yourself.
Carefully run forward to get that low bouncing ball so you don't fall and hurt yourself.
Always yell "BALL ON COURT" loud and clear and NEVER run onto the adjoining court to retrieve your ball; the players on that court will throw it back to you.
Never walk behind players while they are playing; wait until they are between points and let them know you want to cross behind their court.
Don't take an extra balls with you on the court. Only one can be used and strays should never be left lying on a court.
Do not take extraneous materials (bags, bottles, towels) on the court or hang them on the net posts. These items create unsafe playing area and impede visibility.
